Event Details:

The ride will begin at 8:30 a.m. EST at the Davenport office in Winston-Salem, with stops at the Greensboro Train Station and Raleigh Train Station. Riders who need to return by train can take the 5:30 PM departure, but must be at the station at least 30 minutes before departure time.

To wrap up the ride, Subway will be provided at the end for all participants.

IMPORTANT!

Please be sure to specify in the registration form if you would like to take the train back, as all tickets will be purchased at once. No additional payment is required for the train ticket. Each ticket includes one personal item (up to 25 lbs) and two carry-on bags (up to 50 lbs).

For those bringing bicycles, the train has limited spots available for bike racks. If you don’t secure a spot, we will transport your bike back using the cycling van.

MOUNTAINS 4 MEDICINE IS AN INITIATIVE THAT WAS STARTED BY DAVENPORT ENGINEERING AND SPORTS OUTREACH WITH THE GOAL OF SUSTAINING THE NIA DAVENPORT MEDICAL CLINIC WHICH PROVIDES HIGH QUALITY MEDICAL CARE IN HARD TO REACH PLACES. THE GOSPEL MESSAGE FROM JESUS OF RESTORING HOPE AND TRANSFORMING LIVES IS BEING SHARED IN THE COMMUNITY THROUGH THE MEDICAL CENTER, SERVING ALL WHO COME FOR HELP, HEALING, AND CARE. THIS AUGUST, A TEAM OF CYCLISTS WILL BE RIDING 518 MILES IN THE COUNTRY OF UGANDA FOR THE PURPOSES OF RAISING AWARENESS AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE ONGOING SUSTAINABILITY OF THIS MEDICAL CLINIC THAT WILL
SAVE THOUSANDS OF LIVES!
