Last year we built and launched the Nia Davenport Medical Center in August 2023. 265 people who were sick received care, 13 others received salvation, many received the medication they needed to get well. Our launch was a success! We physically and spiritually saved lives and now continue doing so every day. Our staff is working tirelessly to keep the medical center open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. The gospel message of Jesus of restoring hope and transforming lives is being shared in the community that their medical center is open to all who come for help, healing, and care. Now we need to CROSS THE FINISH LINE. We need more equipment, more supplies, and more staff and with your help we can cross the finish line. This is where Mountains 4 Medicine and YOU come in. Each mile you ride, every dollar you give, every sponsorship you invest will take us across the finish line and fund the next two years and get us closer to sustainability.
In Kampala Uganda, the Nia Davenport Medical clinic is their only life line and could make the difference between life and death.

JOIN THE TEAM: Please join us for this life-changing event. Our plan is to have eight trained bike riders will leave the U.S. on Wednesday, August 21st, and arrive in Uganda the next day. Riders are required to ship their own bikes to Uganda, and they will need to be assembled before the bike event begins.
On Saturday August 24th, the Mountains for Medicine bikeathon will begin. There will be five days of riding and one day of rest and reflection at the Safari Lodge. The eight bikers will be accompanied by police escort through Uganda and a service vehicle with a mechanic, food, and water. After your final day of riding, there will be a day of ministry work which will include caring and praying for the medical clinic patients, and visiting Sports Outreach’s Chess Academy in the Katwe community.
GUESTS: If you would like your spouse or guest to accompany you for this trip, there is a separate itinerary for these individuals to serve with Sports Outreach ministry in Kampala. These individuals will join the bikers at the safari lodge toward the end of the journey.
PLAN: Over the next few months, we will be raising support for the medical clinic through corporate sponsorship and domestic riders in various cities across the U.S. The climax of the event will be the epic bike ride across Uganda.
TRAVEL: The total cost for the trip is $4,250. This price includes food, lodging, airfare, and all other trip expenses. The team will stay at the Sports Outreach Resource Center guest cottages where they will be safe and comfortable as well as other hotels along the route.
