Anena Oliver: Loving School and Growing Spiritually
My name is Anena Oliver. I am very happy to be a beneficiary of the LEAD Education program of Sports Outreach. I am in Primary Five at SOM Primary School Pugwinyi. The school is near home and has made it easy for me and other children in the area to attend classes. I used to walk a long distance and be tired by the time I reached the school.
The Lead education program has made it easy for me to receive quality education, where teachers are committed to teaching, and they make sure we understand. The teachers are friendly and easy to talk to. I can talk to them if I do not understand something in class. The classrooms are big enough and convenient for studies. Teachers have time for both lessons and other activities, and they also have enough time to spend with us.
I thank the LEAD program for helping me understand that I need to help my parents with domestic work such as working in the garden. Because through it [the garden], together with my parents, we can raise enough money to buy some of the school requirements not provided by the program.
The LEAD program and the opening of SOM Primary School has helped me to love school and grow spiritually, since we attend Bible studies and pray for our school, teachers, parents, sponsors, and the entire Sports Outreach ministry.
Thank you, LEAD Program and Sports Outreach, for supporting me to stay in school. I now believe I have a bright future.
