Christine's House Update

This video, narrated by Esther, the Director of Christine’s House, provides an update on Christine’s House.

It was a challenging year with the pandemic lockdown. In April, the team had to send all of the girls back to their homes. They did as much continued counseling and pre-birth training as they could, using the telephone. When some travel was allowed, they visited the girls, and continue to do so regularly. Whenever there were pregnancy complications, and when it was almost time for delivery, girls would return to Christine’s House so the team could help them navigate all the medical situations.

Hopefully, many of these girls will be able to participate next year in SOM Uganda’s Sports Outreach Polytechnic School, a residential vocational training program.
